About Us

Faith UMC is a growing church in Chicopee, MA. Established as a Sunday school in 1891, we celebrated 120 years of ministry in 2011. Every Sunday, we offer two different worship experiences and Sunday School for Adults. There are mid-week Bible studies for adults, occasional youth events, and a variety of opportunities for service in the community.
Each year we join with other churches, sending a team of workers to Hollywood, South Carolina to help repair homes for those in great need
We serve a meal each month at “Justice for Our Neighbors” at Trinity United Methodist Church, Springfield
If you want to learn more about our church, come and visit. We’ll see you on Sunday.

New to Faith?

Thank you for visiting Faith United Methodist Church. Through prayer, discipleship and community service, we’re Building A Better Community. Join us for Sunday worship, Bible Study, and mission opportunities. We offer opportunities to learn more about the Bible and God, serve the community, and have a good time. If you want to learn more about our church, come and visit. Check out our FAQ page to get answers to questions such as what to wear to church, where children go during worship, and how we take communion. Be sure to check out our worship page to learn more about the difference between our different Worship options. We’ll see you on Sunday.

Discipleship is a life long process. As we worship, learn, pray, give and serve together, we grow closer to God. Adult Sunday School, WHAM (Youth Group) and adult weekly classes provide places to ask hard questions, find support, and practice living the life of faith. Our mission projects provide ways to get your hands dirty and serve your neighbor. Get connected to others living the life of faith.

Dear Lord, It is my will to surrender to you everything that I am and everything that I'm striving to be. I open the deepest recesses of my heart and invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell inside of me. I offer you my life, heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. I surrender to you my past, present, and future problems. I ask You to take hold over every aspect of my life. I surrender to You all my hurt, pain, worry, doubt, fear, and anxiety, and I ask You to wash me clean. I release everything into Your compassionate care. Please speak to me clearly, Lord. Open my ears to hear Your voice. Open my heart to commune with You more deeply. I want to feel Your loving embrace. Open the doors that need to be opened and close the doors that need to be closed. Please set my feet upon the straight and narrow road that leads to everlasting life. Amen
